  24. Yes! The PC linux I saw was never ever doing any movement near to
  25. 75 Hz (neither scroll nor move window, whatever megablitter it
  26. contains). How should it if mouse events come below 35hz ?

  28. I never ever have seen any other computer (hp, sgi(whoa!), pc)
  29. doing virtual screen/opaque move near to something like 50Hz
  30. (Exept Amiga. And maybe the ST, don't remember. What about MACs ?)

  32. The X3.something you refer to must do some real hard hacks on
  33. PC if it should work 70Hz (but then serial mice are reported
  34. to be too slow for that!)
